BENEFITS OF DJ/MC ARRIVING TO YOUR EVENT EARLY

Peace of mind means so much to you and I. Clients often ask me when will you be arriving at our venue on the day of our wedding/event? Typically, I arrive four or more hours before my contracted start time whenever possible. I regularly strive for early arrival to allow for unforeseen delays such as heavy traffic, other vendors congesting loading dock/area, accidents, the possibility of a flat tire, mechanical car issue, etc (although thankfully this hasn’t happened to me), load in logistics (freight elevators, corridors, etc).

Also, on the day of I will text you and/or your planner, coordinator, point person(s), etc to let you/them know my status such as “on my way”, “arrived”, etc, Again this means peace of mind to everyone, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself knowing my status and that I’m there ready to create a memorable, fun experience for you and your guests,

Added benefits of early arrival are:

1) Getting familiar with the layout of where your event is being held, outlets, exact setup location(s), etc

2) Getting to know other vendors, planners, etc and discuss the game plan for your event. Build a rapport/relationship with them. This “team approach” creates a camaraderie that translates into a better experience for you and your guests.

3) Every event space has a “vibe” . It’s important to FEEL the vibe of a space where you’re about to create a fun, memorable experience in a few hours.

4) Time to setup and perform a sound check

5) The remote possibility of any equipment issues. Early arrival would allow time to resolve this.

6) Allows time to review event details, timeline, notes, etc

7) Allows time to grab a quick bite there or nearby before your event.

So YES! As you see, you’re dealing with a professional that cares about you and your guests, and will do everything possible to make it a memorable, fun, stress-free experience for you and your guests. You must look at the total time invested by us at no additional charge. Things such as prep, drive, logistics, early arrival, often take way more time than the 4-6 hours of actual performance time.
